The Sharia law is often criticized as most people do not have a great understanding of it and many ignore the positives of it. “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed your favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”-Soorah Al’ Maidah. There are many benefits which only the sharia law provides. As it is practiced mostly in Saudi Arabia, the country gets maximum benefits from it.

The ‘Dhimmi’, which is the non-Muslim citizen, along with the Muslim citizen has the right to free food, free shelter and free clothing, provided to them by the government, not as a matter of poverty but as a matter of divine obligation upon the Islamic state. This factor extinguishes poverty in Saudi Arabia and many other places which are under the Shari’a Law.
The law also permits free education for men and women, boys and girls. Due to this, there is not much illiteracy. The price for natural resources is not high, so it is affordable by everyone. There is no taxation. Crimes are not very common as, if caught, the punishments are harsh for everyone.

Countries such as Ethiopia and Sudan flourished in the time of their governance under the divine law enacted by the Islamic State to the extent that they were self sufficient in resources such as food and were even able to provide relief to other nations.
The benefits offered to the non-Muslim are clear. By default they are entitled to free housing, food, gas and clothing without any ambiguity. Islam prohibits ills  such as pornography, paedophilia, bestiality, gambling, drugs and alcohol.

The United Kingdom believes in the continuation of this Shari’a Law. And the positives of this law overcome the negatives of it.
